Never Tempt Me (Remastered)

Juan Atkins has died in Mexico City, aged 64 — found unresponsive in his hotel room before a show at YuYu Cine Club; his agency Greensmith confirmed it on 1 November. With Derrick May and Kevin Saunderson he was one of the Belleville Three; with Rick Davis he was Cybotron; as Model 500 he set down the Detroit techno blueprint with No UFOs in 1985, the year he founded Metroplex. Infiniti was his deeper, more meditative name, and Tresor has spent this autumn bringing it back: Never Tempt Me, remastered, came out on 16 October as a single from the remastered and expanded Infiniti Collection. Rest in peace.
