side one

Metroplex M-005 has Testing 1-2 on side A and Bang The Beat in vocal and instrumental versions on side B. Model 500 wrote and produced it, and Atkins mixed it with Sir Cybo. Forty years on it is still in rotation: this year Eskimo picked it for the compilation Next Wave Acid Punx TROIS, which is where this audio comes from. Filed in memory of Juan Atkins (1962–2026).
