Written by Atkins, Davis and John Housely and produced with Ben Grosse, R-9 was the last Cybotron record with Juan Atkins on it. The 12-inch is dedicated to the people of Earth. The same year Atkins left after creative differences with Davis, started Metroplex and, as Model 500, released No UFOs. Filed in memory of Juan Atkins (1962–2026).
